Every year at the Alpine Country Club Golf To Eradicate Cancer and a dedicated team of volunteers and team members from the Huntsman Cancer Foundation organize an event that brings in some of the top business talent and charitable personalities in Utah in what is now called the Dave and Cheryl Rose Classic. This gathering is designed to bring smiles to the participants and a financial boost to the great work being done at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. The goal is simple, eradicate cancer from the earth. Here is a quick look at some of the highlights of the day in May, 2018…

1st Annual Utah Valley Area Tournament joins the fight against Cancer

The 1st Annual Utah Valley Area Tournament joins the fight against Cancer stronger than expected with over 120 participants, more than 22 sponsoring organizations and support from the best of Utah Valley!

We would like to thank all those who donated time and money in putting this successful event together and echo Jon M. Huntsman’s words, “There is no more important human quality than sharing with others. There is no source of true happiness more complete than an act of charity.” Joining together with the Huntsman Cancer Foundation to eradicate cancer from the earth were BYU and UVU and a long list of Utah’s best including Susan Sheehan (President and COO of Huntsman Cancer Foundation), Lori Kun (Director of Development Huntsman Cancer Foundation) Governor Gary Herbert, Dr. Saundra S.
